The Green Moon.

Every 300 years the moon appears, green just like in this photo.

This photo taken later in the evening doesnt show the beauty of what it looked like before dusk.

I went outside because it was quite early in the evening and it was getting dark outsde very fast,

 it just seened very dark outside. Just as I walked out my door there were people standing all over the road, in the parking lot,

what we had all witnessed in the green moon during the hours of between 6:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M the moon itself was all green,

it was a light hazey green throughout, the night was clear with no wind, nothing abnormal in weather patterns. 

People were so quiet watching in amazment, we had no idea what was going on but somehow there was a sense of peace within everyone there.

No panic no fear everyone watched this beatifiul experience and as it got darker it started to look different, more people were stepping out side to look at this not only did the world witness a green moon but in that partiular September fall evening, it was beautifully warm then things began to change.

Not just was the green moon the skys turned black we also had a very special moment as this was a total eclipse, the last record of this paticular event, I could only find anywhere in history, was three hundred years ago, however thats not to say that in another time, another part of the world people had witnessed this and I just could not find this written in our editorials.

So for many it was a one time event for myself and many having been witness to something so rare  we had a perfect new moon the skies were so calming, everyone watched in amazment.

However, my eyes were up and level with watching the happiness that was brought to each of us that night the cosmos gave us a million unchaptered stories that we could make up whatever fantasy we choose, until such time we found knowlege in many centurys past life, which would seem unnatural really.

As I looked around, I seen a smile on everyones face, people whispering to one another having complete respect for the person or persons beside them too not ruin their moment as well. The is so much to learn and so much beauty left on this earth above it an below it. if we want to see our future genertions learn and give them the insight we really must work harder at it and together.

The pink moon appeared a few months after this, again mother nature gave us all a great show of the cosmos, I know there will be another Pink moon in April 2022, get ready and hey, if we all just pick 1 thing to do, pehaps, instead of picking the flowers let them stay in their own natural state, or if u see a empty bottle pick it up, its a new year, pick 1 thing anything big or small, If  we can start doing that it will be all of our personal gift we can give back, so we can hopefully be sitting with our kids, kids kids, watching yet another green, Pink and  YES!  theres a yellow moon too, ill post a follow up to let you know what dates you can also see meteor showers and the northern lights, they are in so many places around the world, and just an amazing watch. for more information on being interested in how we can make a hugh difference and to learn more on Astronomy,  Past, Present and future go to www.Astronomy.com
